IGF1-LR3 1.0ml
IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arginine 3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is a synthetic, highly potent analogue of human IGF-1 that has been modified to significantly extend its active lifespan in the body. While natural IGF-1 has a half-life of only about 10 to 20 minutes, the structural modifications in IGF-1 LR3 extend its active half-life to 20 to 30 hours. It is primarily utilized in pre-clinical laboratory research to study tissue growth, cellular repair, and metabolic pathways, though it has gained popularity in bodybuilding and performance circles for its potent anabolic effects.Structural Modifications & MechanismAccording to its structural profile documented on Wikipedia, IGF-1 LR3 differs from native human IGF-1 in two primary ways:Arginine Substitution: The glutamic acid at the third position of the amino acid sequence is replaced with arginine (Arg3).N-Terminus Extension: An additional 13 amino acids are added to the N-terminus, creating a longer 83-amino-acid chain (compared to the 70 amino acids in native IGF-1).These changes dramatically decrease its binding affinity for insulin-like growth factor-binding proteins (IGFBPs). Because binding proteins normally deactivate and clear IGF-1 quickly, blocking this connection allows a much higher fraction of "free" IGF-1 LR3 to continuously interact with the IGF-1 receptors on cells. This makes it roughly three times more potent than standard IGF-1.
